Frollicking in The Pool

The above are pictures of my kids playing in our pool. This has turned out to be a very wise investment. I do have to put pool shock in it once a week because it gets so much use, but we are all really enjoying this new toy! Alan hates to get in it because the water is still very cold and he is so skinny that he freezes instantly, unlike his wife whose abundance of personal insulation keeps her toasty (more or less) for 1/2 an hour. The kids swim in it for hours on end. Maybe Alan & I are just getting old!

I love our pool also! It was a chunk of change when we bought it, but it has by far been worth the money, and I hope we both get many fun years out of it. Yeah, chemicals cost a bunch too, but without them, the pools would be yucky :P

You and Jules are tempting us out here in cool weather Oregon with your pools and warm weather! LOL! Looks like so much fun. You know if we did have a pool here, it gets down in the low 50s sometimes 40s every night even if it might get in the 90s...so any heat is just gone from that water each night... I do see people put these insulating things on their pools to save the heat overnight. Have fun frolicking in your pool!

All these pools are so awesome!! The green eyed monster in me just might be rearing her ugly head..hehe
However Rusty is the REAL big baby when it comes to cold pool water, so of course I have to splash him until he gets completely surmerged..Its just simply the law..LOL

Looks like the place to be with all the heat!! We have had upper 90's for a few days now. It should cool down to 80 by the end of the week.

Ohhhh, that looks like so much fun! What is pool shock, though? It's been pretty warm out here the past few days. We've had a swimming outing or two, ourselves, to "the lakes".
