DANGEROUS WITH A CREDIT CARD PART II

Today I made an executive decision. Given the high price of gas and the many childern I have and the fact that the temp is near 90 during the afternoon, I went to walmart and bought a POOL. Yep, thats me. Give me a credit card and a reason and I'll just whip that puppy out! It took us all afternoon and evening to set it up and it is still filling. I don't imagine it will be full until the wee hours. It is 18 feet diameter & 4 ft high. That is going to be one huge water bill. HMMMM. Maybe I should have thought about that little detail.

Anyway the kids are so excited about it and so is their momma.

I was sick Thurs, Fri, & Sat of last week with a flu so intense and a fever so high that I thought my head was going to pop off my shoulders! But I am feeling much better now. Had my dear husband quite worried though. I will try to post pictures soon of the childern frolicking in the pool!! I just love that word! Frolicking, Frolicking, Frolicking!

Wow, sounds like you all are going to be having lots of fun! Sounds like a big pool to me! This is the perfect bribe for having your kids do their work extra well, huh?!!

(Don't tell them I said that)

We so enjoyed our pool. Tell me a woman who can't be dangerous with a credit card. I think it is a good investment, you might save more money by staying home all summer.

Sounds like a lot of fun. And in your own backyard. We bought a pool last year, and it has been WELL worth it. HEHE. Hope you guys have a great time :D

A pool? Sounds nice...we could use one here for about 2 months of the year! Ha ha! I think it's a great investment in future frolicking fun for your kids! Plus...maybe a swim for you too?

My cousin has a pool we get in and it is fun. But there is a lot of work.

I like that word also. Frolicking, I certainly puts a picture in your head. We have talked about getting one, but our back yard is not very water friendly. Or maybe I am not very mud friendly. Right now we mostly just have dirt.

I am sure your family will injoy it. I'm glad you are feeling better.

We have been having computer problems so I haven't been on here much lately.

We bought a pool last year when we lived in Colorado. I felt it was well worth the money spent. The kids sure did enjoy it ...and me too a time or two.
